Adding a participant is how you credit (and pay) people for their contributions to your releases. This includes yourself or anyone you want to receive payouts.

Note: You’ll be able to specify their role (producer, songwriter, etc.) when creating a release.

When adding artists, labels, and participants, make sure all information is accurate — it will be sent to 160+ streaming platforms through Korda’s distribution network.

• To add a new participant, go to the Distribution tab > select “Participants” > “Add Participant”.

Add participant information:

• Participant name: The full legal name or professional name of the individual contributing to the release (e.g., songwriter, producer, performer).
• PayPal Email Address: The email linked to the participant’s PayPal account, used for royalty payouts.
• ISNI Number: An International Standard Name Identifier — a unique code that distinguishes creators and contributors (optional)

• IPN Number: An Interested Party Number (also known as IPI) assigned by a collecting society to track rights and royalty shares.

Deleting participants

To delete a participant, click the “Delete” button on their participant page.

Note: You can’t delete a participant if they’re linked to any releases. You’ll need to delete those releases first.
